Microsoft Build | 2020 All-Digital

When the pandemic hit in early 2020, the entire events industry was trying to pivot to an all-digital format. I helped my partners at Microsoft make the shift at lightning speed with the Microsoft Build event reg launch looming just weeks away.

The approach we took then truly became the model we used moving forward for the rest of 2020 and beyond. The website was no longer and transformed into a radically evolved digital venue. A phased rollout of shifting content that fit into our templatized module library for our venue that could scale with a variety of events. Alignment on a tight 4-6 week promotional window (vs 6mo) to drive demand gen and get attendees registered for the live all-digital experience.
